1、不可数名词前可用定冠词或零冠词。

the water within the bottle has deteriorated（定冠词表特指）

air is one significant substance to lives' growth（零冠词表类指）

2、专有名词前用零冠词。

Eiffel Tower locates in France

3、冠词与名词连用时，位于名词前。

an apple a day keeps doctor away

4、名词如果有形容词修饰，冠词通常在形容词前。

she wore a beautiful dress

she has a red hair

it's a sunny day

5、有些特殊情况如形容词前有so，as，too，how修饰时，不定冠词a放在形容词后名词前。

6、such，what总是放在不定冠词a前

it is such a beautiful day
